Hi, I’m Tommy Cook, CEO and founder of Calnex Solutions. When people ask me what Calnex does, I reply ‘We help ensure telecommunication systems have a future.’ If they don’t glaze over at that point, I’ll usually elaborate: ‘With our products, Network Equipment and Component Manufacturers, as well as Network Operators, can prove their products and services meet the rigorous International standards required to deliver flawless wireless and wireline communications around the world.’ I really am a big hit at parties.
Calnex Solutions design, produce and market test instrumentation for network synchronization and network emulation. Our test equipment provide test solutions for the world's networks. We have over a decade of experience in the test and measurement industry, producing high-end solutions that are as innovative as they are effective.
To date, Calnex has shipped products to over 350 customers in over 60 countries around the world. Headquartered in Linlithgow, Scotland with a sales organization spanning the globe, Calnex is currently adding to its product portfolio, acquiring JAR Technologies (Belfast) in 2018. Calnex was named the 2015 winner of the Queen’s Award for Enterprise for International Trade, the UK’s highest accolade for business success.
Our customer list reads like a ‘who’s who’ of some of the world’s most forward-thinking brands. On all continents, we provide test solutions for Network Operators, Network Providers, systems suppliers, labs and companies developing clocks and high-speed components in applications such as 4G/5G Mobile Infrastructure, Industrial Internet, Video Transport, Security, Enterprise and SD-WAN.
These are the guys we keep well away from the engineering of our products. That said, with a combined Blue Chip experience of over 100 years, they have plenty of experience when it comes to growing and delivering on the potential of a fast-growing technology company.
